Hold Me

Soulless tonight
Your vision was right
Just hold me tight
Don’t let me take flight

Help me battle the urge
To use again
Help me battle the urge
And refuse the pain

I will hold your hand
So you can guide me through
Into your sky
Beautiful blue

You’re not the type
To forgive or forget
Trust in me love
Take the bet

Help me battle the urge
To use again
Help me battle the urge
And refuse the pain

Metallic in taste
Stars moving in my sky
Left alone for but a moment
Now I’m here to die

Soulless tonight
Your vision was right
You never held me tight
So I took the flight
Adolescence in essence is all about trust.
Leaving is for the answering machine.

  • {{coach}}, this is so painful to read! I've felt it. You put it into words.

    Great job! :)
