So much to say
Yet nothing comes out
Tonight my love
There’s little to doubt

Thank you for this fate
Whomever is responsible for its cast
I never dreamt it would be possible
To walk away from my past

You make time heal all wounds
The sun rises each day
And in your arms
I will stay

Sometimes we lose the battle
Sometimes we can’t hold on
Sometimes we need help
Sometimes we don’t make dawn

I know the clouds can still come
The sun obscured for awhile
Until you come along
With your perfect smile

You make time heal all wounds
You make the sun rise each day
And in your arms
Forever I will stay
Adolescence in essence is all about trust.
Leaving is for the answering machine.
