Passage of Love

Send away your love
Knotted stomach
Lump in your throat

A tear rolls
Stinging your eye
A sigh

You can wait
For the return
Time?

Wait
Wait
Wait

Your love has burned
No return
Be strong

The Pain
All wounds heal
Feel

New love is born
Butterflies
Rose without a thorn

That's a pretty moving poem monkay... I like it. Gets to the heart of feelings and makes me reflect on past experiences... thanks.

You know, I like the way you've used space and repetition to reclaim cliche and remind us that sometimes only the most recognisable phrases express deepest feelings. I think that's what Bob Dylan did on Time Out Of Mind. Good stuff, Monkay.
