Field of dreams

I dreamt we were walking
Through Hyde park, in the fall
A Princess on my shoulder
A Queens hand, holding mine
Put you down,watched you dance
Amongst the rusty,Autumn leaves
A smile to wear upon my crown
For eternity

I awoke cold and sober
In my squallid, empty cell
Lit a cigarette,took a drag
Felt the burn, then exhaled
Looked outside the window
As the mist cleared,stomach twisted
As i touched the bars,without a glow
Remembered the day

As the moon
Gently pulls the tide
Count the days
Slowly passing by
I'll see you there
Amongst those rusty Autumn leaves
On a cold september morning
In that old field of dreams
