thinking about someone tonight...
"winter paintings" for L
there is the bench
where last night i sat
and stared at the moon,
and coulds revealed by star light
holding white powder
for the morning drops calmly on my shoulders
as the world, it grows louder
that is the road behind me trodden
once empty and black
time covered by blankets
unfolded by clouds
and in front of my eyes
ensued spectacular scenes
strangely it seems
i was grasping at shadows,
turned into light beams
here i lay resting my head
i glance out the window
to see falling white powder
like a painting, perpetual
through glass, feigning canvas and
hearts growing louder
the smell of her hair
i hear the music, her laughter
now i smile
and closing my eyes
take her touch with me to sleep
and smile when i see her face after

thanks eddie's grrl that's very kind. L is a memory...hence the thread title...was just in a bit of a mood the other night...
It's a lovely poem. Easy to picture "you" sitting on that bench, white powder in hand.
well, i hope she knows how lucky she was, then...

thanks being enlightened.
Good title, you do paint a picture
You’re on the outside, never bound by such a spell.
Together in the darkness, alone in the light.
I took it upon me to be yours, Timmy,
I’ll lead your angels and demons at play tonight......»
Once again, thanks for sharing your writings with us.
