This isn't really a poem...just kind of something I needed to get it off my mind. I thought maybe if I shared it, it could help. It's about someone close to me that passed away. . .suicide. . .

So long since I saw you and now the chance is gone.
You will always be in my thoughts.
A brother is what you were to me.
And I’m still crying from the news…still in denial.
Can’t believe someone so close is now so far.
I feel like I should have known.
I only wish you would have come for help.
You had a hard life and moved on to a better place.
But maybe it could have been different.
You just needed someone to guide you.
Every night I pray for you to be happier then you were here.
I can’t wait to see your smile and hear your voice.

    and I wish you all the strenght you need to be able to move on.
