The Tie
********

I,
set on flames,
burnt,
on my knees before these memories,

hit,
like a beach is hit by the winds of mid autumm,
nothing remains what it was before,

everything is new,
every ray of light shines a new colour,

naked and lost,
in this garden of endless love,
I raise my arms to this mix of sun and rain,
it wishpers me your name,

suddently,
my blood runs faster,

aching a new life.

the plot let itself be seen,
unfolds before my eyes,
the invisible scheme of things,

but I remember,

we are not here to be driven,
I choose the path,
And the way I’ll leave the wheel behind.

One life to meet,
and some to learn,
all them to feel,
You’re never really gone,

woke up,
to the dawn of life,
a sparkle flying,
from the ancient fire,

free,
aware of your smile,
as I cut across the skies,

to the end of times.

  • Your poems take me to another place, JRoberto, and it's a place I wish I never had to leave! :)

Your writing style is definately different than that of tchaliz but his writings do the same thing to me. I read each of your respective offerings and am always left with butterflies in my stomach, stars in my eyes and the only way I can articulate what I'm feeling is to *sigh*. :) It's just awesome! Thank you!
Forget your perfect offering, there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in. - Leonard Cohen
  • That was too kind, thank you :)

All I can say is that, the objective is to connect, and when that happens is amazing !
