Once,
I asked you to say
that you loved me,
and so you did,
and time flew by
with me pretending
that your lies
were the truth.

Now I have finally
allowed myself to see
that it has been
nothing but a fantasy.
You love no one
not a single soul
in truth,
for you use and abuse
everyone you come across.

I have become
tired of participating
in your games
and so I say
without a guilty thought:
farewell,
and godspeed
to the knowledge you lack.
