A Unique Proposal For Mansfield 6/30/08

OK, I'll keep this brief and fill in the blanks later if needed.

I'm dropmyleash. I used to spend a lot of time here, but not lately.
I am one chill mofo.
I'm a huge fan all the way back to Ten.
I've been to many shows, but have never been a 10c member.

I live near Mansfield. I will be buying tickets Thursday regardless.
I will be going with a friend. My friend is cooler than me, if that is possible (It is.).

That all being the case, here is my Indecent Proposal to The Message Pit:

Realizing a lot of people travel to this show, I am offering up the following.
In exchange for 1 or 2 10c seats to Mansfield I(at least the first ring of seating), of which I will certainly pay for, I will...

-Pick you up at wherever you are staying locally or at the train station.
-Bring you to the show. Pay for parking.
-Supply beer, food, grill, etc. in lot.
-420, if you're into that.
-We go early.
-Hang out and enjoy the show.
-Bring you back to wherever you are staying and drop you off.

So that's about it. Pretty simple.

Guys, girls, I don't really care. I'm just looking for a typical PJ fan type.

I'll be happy to answer any other questions that come up in this thread.

If you have any interest in doing this, please let me know via PM and/or send me an email at PJ2008@comcast.net

Bring it.
Having tasted, a life wasted....

....I'll probably only go back a couple more times.

Just make sure it's a Massachusetts prostitute. You don't want to go transporting one across state lines.

Nice offer by the original poster. If I was going to that show, I'd totally take you up on it. Good luck to you in your search.

Holy crap, I was just looking through my PMs and I almost sent you one.

Yah, can you believe that?! I've been on the bandwagon from literally day 1, I listen to PJ like 98% of the time, yet i have never been a 10c member.

Truth be told, I would've lapsed it dozens of times at this point and probably lost it.

I usually bring a mixed bag of Bud Light and Harpoon IPA.

    I even take requests...

Agreed with the Harpoon IPA's, especially in the summer. Id take you up on the offer but im 10 mins from Mansfield and my 10c number isnt that good anyways 321xxx. I think im the only person who is happy the show is at the Tweeter Center and not at in Boston.

I actually wish it was at Boston, because then I could just get my usual back/sidestage seats that rule.

Plus I can just get lit at The Harp across the street.

Also, DAMNIT I see myself spending a lot of time here again!

I really, really, really, really don't even want to think of what my 10c number would be had I signed up in '92.

Of course parking is "free" (included in the cost of the tickets)

Just pay the $20 and join leash! You'll get tickets!

Seriously, you'll probably luck out with TM because they usually release tix a few days before the show and it's usually like Section 2 Row J. You'd have to be in the 10C many years to get those puppies.

Anyone going to Hartford? Where is the the will call window in Hartford (to the right side or left side of front entrance)? Haven't been there in 10 years.

    Thanks.

Consider ponying up the extra $ for paid parking - it is a nightmare to get out of.

    very expensive beer

drink your beer in the lot out of a cup and you will have no problems unless you are underage

decent sound, easy to move around and navigate.

I have two mansfield tix that I can trade for MSG...can you do that?

While your list of offers looks enticing, I need MSG tix before any of the above :)
it's funny when things change so much, it's all state of mind...

  • There is nothing walking distance.

Sorry if I was unclear - pony up the $$$ for VIP or private parking, OR be prepared to sit for 2+ hours trying to get out. Paying for off site or VIP works just fine.

Plenty of Yankee fans around here, they mostly don't advertise though ;-)

    -traveling alone
    -have no car
    -have no ride
-want to have fun in lot

...give me a call and you can hang with us.

    I'll pick you up.
