How nice it would be to be like a flower;
just to wake up every morning fresh and beautiful,
with all the sunshine you ever wanted.

Like a flower you lift your head up in the morning;
then as you open your petals up, it's just like
opening your eyes up to see the sun light.

Whether in a pot or in a garden made just for you;
someone is sure to feed, water and talk to you,
just as two people in love do for each other.

The care you would receive is wonderful
and the sweet talking and loving care you get
is what helps make your day be the best yet.

As you are special, picked and carried to be
placed in a beautiful vase for everyone to see,
you look around and see a whole different world.

When night comes upon us we watch the sunset,
we begin to close our eyes and bow our heads down,
but not untill we hear the words we love so much.

Like a slow mist of rain that falls upon you;
you long to hear those three words,
the three words that help brighten your day.
