Gazing in the mirror
It's taking over again...
That look-
It's back...
He's become the killer again.

Slithering through the streets
At home on the dark side of town
On the prowl
Following the sounds of her footsteps...
Tonight he refuses to be let down.

She is his purest lover
Tonight he will uncover
He's out to destroy
That which he lacks
Never to be caught...
He slips through the cracks--

Melodies to sing her to sleep
Alone in the dark
It's the killer again...
Waiting to rip her apart

Another lover drained
Painted up in blood
This river has run dry
Drank the life of another
He can rest again,...

He'll continue on...
Marching to the beat of the jugular drummer....
He'll continue on...
In search of his next lover....

I didn't mean to scare anyone with this. It's something I wrote after watching a movie about a serial killer. I was too frightened to sleep so writinf is what I did!!!

I thought it was great. We all have a dark side and if watching movies, tele, or reading books, calls out such an amazing work of art... I say let it come out in poetry or song. The right outlets!
