Some things we are taught we might not have wanted to know. Should we all be stronger and smarter? Is that what makes a person good or life worth living - to be stronger and smarter? Not everything needs to be learned through pain and some things scar you and you wish you could forget, I guess you should just be grateful that they gave you scars - is that what it is? I don't believe in hatred of anyone and you should forgive those that have hurt you and I pray for them because that is how I am but I do not forget. So is that what you have done - called all your ex's and thanked them? Did they make you stronger or more bitter, angry, and prideful?

I can only speak for ME. I think some things have learning potential, but some are just plain cruel and heartless and completely unnecessary. Hate breeds hate. What is a big joke or a learning experience to some can hurt another whether they realize it or not. "Strong" people should not be looking down on people that are not as "strong", it's all about helping them get back on their feet and if they have compassion and a heart, well I guess the world is a better place for it (never thought it would ever be a crime to have a heart-such a pity that some think it is). Love, to me is always the answer....if you can't love yourself, how can you love anyone else? And if you don't love yourself, you have to figure out why and work on it, not just for you, but everyone else around you. Hurting others mentally or physically isn't going to solve a thing, only conflict. Life is too precious to waste it on that.

no, they should call me and thank me because i think i made them stronger. i don't have scars from my x's only ones i have is the ones i give myself. i don't blame others for the bad choices i made and i made many of them. but life goes on.

Some people want to learn from their mistakes and not do them again, not to blame but to learn and grow instead of repeating the same cycle over and over. No one is downing how you handle things, don't down others because they don't think like you and can't just shrug it off. I have a different belief system than you do.
