Hazed Moon Beams

Driving home, down a winding road
I seen a star next to the moon
The star was on the left
The moon was O’ so bright
Thinking of how to describe it
Saddened somewhere deep inside
Wanting for somewhere to find
Crack an egg, put it in the pan
Watch it start to cloud over
That’s the vision that I send
I kiss the moon goodbye
Sending it to the other side
Nowhere losing track of time
Somewhere deep inside
Can't you see that there's light in the dark.
Nothing's quite what it seems in the city of dreams.
