Heaven Bound

Sitting in my chair,
bored to death,
watching the same video’s
over and over.
You walk in,
without saying a word,
change your clothes,
get the kids around
and leave.
I don’t want to go to your
fucking party anyhoo.

Condescending relatives,
sitting around
in their Sunday finest,
judging people
that are not
at your so called Christian level;
Then smiling at them
when they arrive.
If that’s what it takes to go to heaven
I think I’ll stay home-
You fuckin hypocrites
Can't you see that there's light in the dark.
Nothing's quite what it seems in the city of dreams.

    Christians are the biggest hypocrites....my addict "husband" was one (a christian).

    But then again..I'm finding myself a hypocrite as well.
