His mind twisting like
a grapevine tangled
in a sprocket,
jamming his gears.

Thoughts flying through
the air, smashing into
his skull, pealing away
his flesh

Freezing rain at light speed,
shattering his glass house,
exposing his interior,
for the elements of life,
to come in.

A brain freeze of reality-
His reality of confusion.
Can't you see that there's light in the dark.
Nothing's quite what it seems in the city of dreams.
