Driving Home

He still recalls the taste
of his tears.
Buried in an ant hill;
Dipped in sweet honey
his skin crawling-
Senses extreme.
Darkness covers his
world blank,
no images of peace.
Running in a field of desperation.
Billboard smiling faces.
There is an accident up ahead.
of his tears.
Buried in an ant hill;
Dipped in sweet honey
his skin crawling-
Senses extreme.
Darkness covers his
world blank,
no images of peace.
Running in a field of desperation.
Billboard smiling faces.
There is an accident up ahead.
Can't you see that there's light in the dark.
