I Hate You:Forty-one Experiences

Eating dinner.
Locked from the outside world,
By a door.
Watching Shirley Temple,
Wishing for more.
More what, you may ask?
More love, is my reply.
You see I am just a youth,
Abused and used.
Where is the love for me?
It’s in a bottle,
For all to see.
Drink up, my son.
This is how daddy copes.
Sure I hit your mom,
Ain’t she a joke.
I hate! I hate you!
I scream!
Running to my bedroom,
For some peaceful dreams.
Locked from the outside world,
By a door.
Watching Shirley Temple,
Wishing for more.

Ain’t she a joke.

I scream!
Running to my bedroom,
For some peaceful dreams.
Can't you see that there's light in the dark.
Nothing's quite what it seems in the city of dreams.

i don't know why i should
oh, it is real?
i'm still surprised
it's gonna take a little more time
what is meant to be
will be?
of course!
much to the tune of beer cans poppin' wrapped in "get your ass to bed!"s
a lovely childhood, lol... I couldn't WAIT to grow up.
i told my own girl that she was free to stay a little kid until she was around sixteen or so... she's bummed that she only gets 8 more years
quite the turnaround.
