Is breathtaking. . .
Generations climb in and out of it’s limbs
Fruit that feeds millions. . .
Saddened is his state
Visions of majestic trees all around. . .
How beautiful they all are
Growing higher than one can see. . .
Wishing to be beautiful as they.
Shielded from the great storms
Protected by limited space. . .
Looking above, seeing them thrashed around.
Lightening flashes in the sky
Scared, sometimes killed. . .
Many weather the storm
to be cut down for the harvest. . .
Used in personal pleasure
Lost in others blindness. . .
Few are protected, but, for their fame
Most are lost, never to be seen. . .
Realizing it’s gratitude
Feeding and raising children
for the good of mankind. . .
