Molding Clay

He has grown inwardly hard
Since his first love
a long time ago.
He has given his
partners his all.
He would change his ways;
Molded like a perfect piece of clay.
The clay was left out of the kiln.
His love and their strength
was based on trust.
Trust being the kiln of his love.
When the clay is broken
it can be reformed.
However, it will never take the shape
of the love that once was.
