Dragons Breath

The dragon's breath: as is hers.

Breathing fire: singeing my lungs.

The smell of burnt flesh tastes

like a fire amber. Hear it crackle

down my throat.

Ripping the glow from my

chest. Her razor sharp claws

fondle my blackened heart,

plunging it into her realm.

With hatred: descending into

her clutches-a decomposing corpse,

my hollow body burns black.

The sword walks to my hand.

Turning black with hatred- As I descend.
Can't you see that there's light in the dark.
Nothing's quite what it seems in the city of dreams.
