So, I finally go to civilization
A place called Sangkum Adel
Thought I would make a post

I haven't been
mmmhmm
can't be much higher
mmmhmm
how I seek
no can not find it
mmmhmm
I prayed to gods
and they looked upon it
there was a hymn
did not recognize it
mmmhmm
still I pray
mmmhmm
still I pray
mmmhmm

seeking youth
oh how I yearn that
wish I was
wish to be sitting upon it
when I knew
no doubts to drown in
to reach upon
oh smell the flowers
I saw the cause
was still not righteous

I haven't been
mmmhmm
No I can not find it
I've been searching
rest my soul upon it
I search my needs
and I'm confiding
this soul is selling
mmmhmm
this soul is selling
mmmhmm

oh I see the fault
fall in line with problems
just to stay the course
those sweet lines, I keep my thoughts in
a restless soul
but I'm confiding
It's just not right
but I'm subsiding
I'm giving way, to what I once was fighting
not a resolution
I am the problem
To see the wrongs
but still I'm hiding

I have finally realized something...
What is worse...knowing the problems, and doing nothing about it, or seeing nothing wrong at all?
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

    I have finally realized something...
What is worse...knowing the problems, and doing nothing about it, or seeing nothing wrong at all?

I think we all have to make decisions about what we want to worry about.
So, both of your ideas might be negative, or they might not be...it all depends upon whether the responsibility to fix something is yours or not.

For example, you may see something a neighbor is doing, notice that it needs to change, but not have the authority to change it. (So, you do nothing.)

Or, you may not notice your neighbor's habits. (So do nothing.)

Or, this seems like what you're worrying about...you may see a problem that IS your responsibility and then have to make a decision about whether to worry and change it or to let it fall into a "I don't care about it enough to change it..." category.

I think everyone changes at their own pace and it probably isn't too helpful to burden yourself with guilt if you don't want to do something that is optional. However, if you really WANT to solve a problem and have mental blocks about acting, that's another issue entirely.

    :)

I'm sure that's too long of an answer, but I thought your question was interesting.! :D
