retrospect

Just never thought that I

What is it here I’m reminiscing of

You light that fuse,
You go and blow my mind

You open arms,
Take away self-righteous-harm

You whisper your words
And I hand you all my life
Don’t trust myself
My faith entrusted in you right now
Hey that was foresight
Now I’m viewing it all in retrospect

Gave you my words
It’s all that I hold
And value your love
My messiah
What else how now
What else could I be thinking of

No more lonely
Your sinking right on in
My newest drug
Latest way to blow my mind
Can’t think for myself
I need to keep you around

Trample my heart
Well that’s everything
Is that my fault
Was there something I could do
Walking away
Lay in spite cast shadow
These lights light so dim
Viewing in the retrospect

Hey that’s in the retrospect
Living with these regrets

The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

    ahhh regrets, we all have them, mine are hurting people I love and not meaning to, this reminded me greatly of someone looking for something to hold on to and believe in, someone who needs great love :)

    After you die...you know how to LIVE!

    Comeback, I'll be here....Comeback. Great poem, heartfelt and each line seemed to be very thought out. Thanks for sharing!

    On a side note, it's good to see that you are back depop! If we could only get BE to comeback now ;)

    I have a alast assembled a song for listenning displeasure. Been a while, and the quality isn't the greatest, but it isn't horid either....l8r

    Oh cool, I will have to look in yahoo, I am sooo bad about cleaning out my mailboxes, this one here is full. Excellent, yeah, I would love to listen to it!!! That is fantastic! :)

    Good read depop...sad and searching; seems to me running never gives much peace, just more heartache...reminds me of one of my favorite songs by Metallica - Wherever I May Roam...btw - thanx for sharing your song, good stuff! :):)

    wow, thanks...because that is an amazing tune (still like unforgiven more, but WIMr is pretty sweet)

    Glad you enjoyed the tune...not the greates sound quality...but it gives a general idea. I am considering making a recording of Wishing Well...an earlier writing I posted here...picking away at the music a bit at a time, but I have a general concept already.
