sacrifice

You’ll give in
To sacrifice
Will you let it
Control your life
Will you know
How to sacrifice
Can you give
The better part of life
Can you dream
Can you sacrifice
Can you give
Give into sacrifice

Built a life
Is it set in stone
Build a castle
Make it you own home
By the sea
And full of life
All your dreams
Is it your right

Castle built in the sand
See it wash
From shores with time
Then you’ll now just what it means
Then you’ll know
About sacrifice


Praise you lord
Bow down to God
Will you do
What he asks
Just one small task
And eternal life
Sell your soul
Give in to sacrifice

Lover dying
In your hands
Spare a part
For them to live on
Can you sense
The true power of
Can you fulfill it
Complete your love

Free your country
Not your mind
Protect the peace
Leave liberty behind
Will you fight
Will you stand
Give your all
Give in to sacrifice

And sacrifice
Just do what you have to
And sacrifice
Doesn’t matter
Does you your heart bleed true
Sacrifice
Give in to take
Sacrifice
Sacrifice your common place

A nation’s pride
But do they see
Or are they all blind
If they want to win
They must learn to sacrifice

Society trembles
Earthquakes from fear
They know how to win
But turn blind eye
They lock their hearts
They shut their minds
To sell others souls
They can sacrifice
Turn the tables
Give them the knife
Are they willing
To sacrifice
Put in those
Can they themselves
Give into sacrifice

Neighbor passing
He bends his mind
Another brother
Of sacrifice
Gave his soul
Every time
Sought out the truth
Left his life behind
With shattered dreams
And forgotten kin
He watched it fall
Giving into sacrifice

Another path
Brand new trend
It starts with you
Where will it end
Can you give up
All that your life means
Will you live
For a bigger dream
Can you give in
To sacrifice
Are you willing
To sacrifice
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

    This was amazingly well written. I would have lost my train of thought trying to do something like it myself but you captured it all nicely :) Thanks for sharing!!

    yeah. I lost myself here. I am going to totally re-do this one.
