I always think about this kind of stuff, and it drives me mad. The world just seems to be getting worse with each passing moment.

I was reading a thread:

And it just all came rushing in.

There was so much more I wanted to express, but simply did not know how, without making this 3 or 4 times longer.

It is hard when you see a crumbling society in front of you, but don't know what to do, or if there is anything to do.

The world just seems to get worse as technology and world economies (each nation wants a bigger piece) grow.

I would think that ancient times would have sucked, then ironically medieval times improved things, and society did its best. Society, humanity, morality all seemed to improve for years after that. Then came the industrial age, and the death, IMO, of society.

In yesteryears there may have been many battles, but for the most part it was face to face, person to person, and was generally in effort to protect, expand and often faught in the name of a god (which I still think is a poor excuse). It may have been brutal, but it was done in the open.

Now a days, other culture's are shoved down peoples throats, and everything is for the all mighty buck, and non renewable resources.

It seems like so many just seem to put on a front of helping those in need, so it appears to balance everything else out. Honestly, the world's economy could sweep through torn and impoverished nations and help fix the problems. They say it's all that can be done, but if that was true then world economies would not thrive. They would shrink until nations in need were healed.


I am rambling, and could go on and on and on, but I will spare you all now.
