Living my life in blasphemy
Nothing right as far as I can see
Ungodly love
Between you and me
Nothing right as far as I can see
Lived my life righteous
Formerly
All good and proper
Formally

You were the beginning and the end
The end of me
Together an new trend
Our history
All I can do is fly with you
We’re so free
Much to disbelief
Of family

Don’t you know
Your all I need
Forget their beliefs
Screw society
Live our own way
What we want to be
Here on our own
Oh happily
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

    I broke up with my girlfriend a little over a week ago. This poem says exactly what I was thinking. People need to do what they want, not what they think everyone else wants them too. Nicely written.
    I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

    i agree with both statements. the poem is interesting and even better it comes-across as sincere, i love that!

    but also, people do need to follow their own hearts rather than the opinions and thoughts of others.. then the world would be filled with much happier, more-loving interactions.. at least that's my thinking on the matter.
