This
is
The killing
Time
And this
Is
A chilling rhyme
I
Will
Make you mine
And I
Am
The one
Who hurts fun

Say what you want
Say what you will
Ill still hurt you
It gives me thrill

Take a leap of faith
Go ahead and run
Beg and plead
Right on your knees
So much more fun

This
is
The killing
Time
And this
Is
A chilling rhyme
I
Am
Not so kind
And I
Am
The one
With warped mind

Don’t you worry
Im not sorry
Shut up your mouth
Don’t want your story

Its not personal
Just want your soul
Don’t try to bargain
This is your end

This
is
The killing
Time
And this
Is
A chilling rhyme
I
Am
Not so kind
And I
Am
The one
With warped mind
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

  • i always wonder if the ones that claim to not care if they hurt others are serious...maybe they just tell themselves that. a defense mechanism maybe?

somehow, for most people, i can't believe it.

but maybe i give people more credit than they deserve. i'm sure there are people out there with no hearts.

you sound like someone i used to know, btw.

i like the way you write.
    You ask me to enter
But then You make me crawl
And I can't be holding on
    To what You got
When all You've got is hurt
    ----
    Underneath this smile lies everything
All my hopes and anger, pride and shame

I thought this could have had something to do with a book I read years ago. I can't remember what the book was about I only remembered the title. I thought it was called The Killing Time, but it was The Killing Kind. I wrote down a quote from that book ........

"....each life [is] inextricably intertwined with the lives of others. The loss of even one reverberates through the whole, altering the balance, changing the nature of existance in tiny, imperceptible ways."
    - John Connolly, The Killing Kind

...which I tagged onto the end of a poem about, well in part about the nine people who died at the pearl jam show a number of years ago, and in part about the death of any individual on earth and how each life (and death) effects this world in ways we will never know.

anyway, back one track. I like what you have written, It is quite scary, but as long as it is not your personal thoughts, it's cool.
  • i can see why you wrote that quote down, i like it as well.

  • Thanks for the comments guys. This is totally internal reference though, not directed at another.
