Close to me
All I want
You’ll never be

All you are
What can be
You aren’t great
Not for me

Read your mind
So unkind
All I need
Not for me

Distant plain
In the rain
Dark and grim
Don’t want in

Hell on earth
What you brought
You gave birth
Not to what I sought

I see you
For what you are
You do too
Not my star

Wont follow trend
This aint love
I cant pretend
Not worth dreaming of

Any day
I must leave
Can not stay
Please believe

Not for me
Cant you see
Not for me
Ancient history
Not for me
Set you free
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

    thanks pacifier. Though the bitch of it is that I had no name for it, so when I posted it here I slapped that on it. After I posted, I was like hey, that gave me a whole new set of lyrics/poem, but now Ive used the tittle...damn
