I do feel
That you feel the same
I know
That you want this to be real
I give
The better part of me
I live
For you to be with me

Can you hear the river flowing on to me
Light shattered sparkles
Like your eyes I see in dreams
Do you paddle closer to my shore
Current pushing you away
I beg you try some more

I do feel
That you feel the same

Please swim into my proximity
Struggle with your might
I wait so eagerly
If you dare to open up your heart
It gives us a chance
Gives us a place to start
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

    I really like this one depop. It's sweet and longing. Your dark poems are nice but your sweet ones are like sugar (no and that doesn't make you a "girlie-man" or too mushy).
