Hey there my special friends
Do you see where I am going
I hope you see where its coming from
All this truth and penalty eats within
Will you watch my penance paid
Is it all you’ve ever prayed

It’s all the same
It’s all a shame
It’s all the same
It’s all a game

And all
All of this justice
It’s raining down on me
And all
All of this justice
Its closing in on me
And all
All of this justice
It smothers from within

It’s all the same
It’s all a shame
It’s all the same
It’s all a game

And when its all gone
What next
Will come
And its all spent
What then
Will you stay a friend

As I go passing
Through this factory
I see the gerbil start to spin
Creating an electricity
Controlling mind within

It has all
Yet to come so undone
It has all
Yet to see an end
It has all
Yet to start to begin

It’s all the same
It’s all a shame
It’s all the same
It’s all a game

What should come to happen
Will it take place next
When do I hear that melody
And pounding of my chest
What should come to happen
Will it provide me rest

And when my mind melts
What will come to rest
And when it grinds down
What will happen next
And when he sits still
Will I come to notice
And when it concaves
Will production take the hit

And when I make reparation
Will turn away to hide
For when I learn to fight temptation
A lot of me shall die
Know that this is my vast creation
Look into my eyes
Once I achieve my separation
My mind may run dry

It’s all the same
It’s all a shame
It’s all the same
It’s all a game
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

Very nicely written. I like the vunerability in it. Your creativity doesn't have to die when you face pain head on. It may just change, but certain gifts don't go away. They get better...
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
  • thanks.

it is about watching a friend make stupid decisions/choices...'doing the wrong thing' Then, that person suffers the consequences. Do you help that person. You know they are doing wrong, yet they are your friend.

Yeah I know what you mean. I know from the really bad choices I have made that sometimes you need people to see what is wrong and tell you but sometimes you just don't listen and have to learn the hard way. Sometimes you just have to lovingly say your peace, offer to be there if they need it, and leave it at that. Sometimes it takes pain to grow and learn and you can't save those that don't want to be saved... :o)))

That's so true and I'm so bad at that.
  • its hard to watch whe you know that you can get them out of trouble, and they may be mad if they don't recieve your help, but sometimes THAT is what they need

Sometimes you can't grow if you get bailed out. Facing the music can be very painful but an "awakening" thing. Some things we are meant to experience even if they hurt like Hell. If you know they are wrong and in the end you are not helping them "by helping them" you have to step back. That is the more loving thing to do.

I think it's hard to watch someone you care about get hurt, especially if it's over and over again. It makes you want to change things even if you are not wanted or invited to. It's hard to sit on the sidelines and watch just as it is hard to go through making mistakes and finally learning from them. I'm really bad about my heart overuling my brain most of the time.

yeah, thats pretty much what I was trying to say, plus that even though you know that is the case, it is still an internal battle
