See deception
Stand in line
Do not need this
But its all mine
Waiting so patient
For that time
That they’ll show me
Again, I’m not blind

Why are we waiting
We’ve been here before
Standing in patience
Just head for that door

Why are we waiting
This to kill the bore
Standing here dreaming
Not having this anymore

Take your time now
Just look in their eyes
Smell their ruse
A perfect disguise
Laying in waiting
Just outside your door
Part of their training
To rule the world

Why should you stand-up
Though you realize
Smile through lips
That tell all the lies
Showing of mercy
To attain profane goals
All that they’ve wanted
All of it and more

Why are we waiting
We’ve been here before
Standing in patience
Just head for that door

Why are we waiting
This to kill the bore
Standing here dreaming
Not having this anymore

Another misconception
Every time
No choice of another
Makes it better than before
So why are they wasting
All of our lives
Three more are born
To one glorious demise

Passion and pain
The weight of their words
Why so much greater
Even after the truth unfolds
Toy with emotions
Play with our lives
Part of their training
To ruin the world
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

don't exactly know what you are refering to but i really like the following

    "Why are we waiting
    We’ve been here before
    Standing in patience
    Just head for that door"

just a question, how can you kill what doesn't exist?

O.k., I think it is about one of those sappy hypocritical preachers on tv with all of their melodrama, a salesman, and a telemarketer. They are all pretty painful to me. The 3 that you refer to. Nice poem!
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!

You obviously feel very passionately about something. It's well written.

no, but I LOVE your insight on it. I think I might just change it to be about that! Interesting!

the 3 was kinda filler...a segway(sp). If anything it has a biblical referrence (the 3 part)

  • i definitely felt the political side of it, and then there was the wonderfully great interpretation by twin,... either way... very well written,... insightful,... and what i love most about it is that, as we've seen---it has endless possibility leaving it open to touch many in an extraordinary amount of diverse ways.

thanks trinity. I try to leave most of my stuff open. There is seldom a definitive end.

also, " melodrama, a salesman, and a telemarketer." has anybody heard that refference before. it seems so familiar.
