Boil

Let it steam
Yeah let boil
There gotta be an end
A solution to turmoil
Don’t know quite what it is
Fear we never will
All I know we gotta stop
Before we can begin to heal

My roots
Have gone numb
Where has this all come from
I don’t know quite what to do
Feel the panic coming through

In the end
Where will it start
Destiny filled by havoc
Much more than I need
How could one desire it

Follow trend
The easy way out
While the passage gets filled with doubt

Question simple righteousness
Glimmer of hope
Shall be cast upon us all
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

    Hey Depop, insightful poem. "Hope" is a very good word. You talk about the boiling pot, is that your temper? Cause, yeah, you really seem like you have a bad one...

    that's not really what this one is about. I control my temper too well. It takes a lot for me to loose my temper. I actually get bugged by friends that I am too calm too often. However, they also point out that when I do loose it, they don't want to be around. It is ussually pretty bad, but rare.
    The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

    I was kidding! Actually you don't seem to me like you have a temper at all. You crack jokes alot. I think being serious too much is boring. You liven things up! That's cool! Don't you want to amuse and delight??!! Just an observation from the older wonder twin...

    Wow, that sounds like my sister. I've gotten her to that point a few times. I even was ordered out of the car once and I believe me, I got out. I had to walk home though...that sucked.
