When you stand before the light
Will you let it shine on in
Resist with all your might
Or open arms so willingly
And if this for just one night
I know I’ll hold it tight
Never let it go
Watch it drift away
And sink in with the sorrow
And all of what I need
Befriend a friend in need
Don’t let that moment pass
Flowing away
Like the timing of an hour glass
Watch it go
Ever slow
search your heart
search your soul
look inside and you just might know
This is to good to last
Through the passion
Through the pain
How can all our efforts be in vain
Hold it now
As it goes
Tomorrow’s blissful memory
I want more
Wouldn’t you
Who on earth wouldn’t want the same
When it goes
All I know
One blissful memory will have to last
Fades away
Into the light
Showing gateways to the darkness of the night
All I know
It has to go
That’s okay
Want some more
Know I am fortunate for the wondrous memory
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key
