Spring Forward

You wake up early
But your running late
And you can’t ignore
The lack of traffic today
Breakfast menu’s down
And the coffee’s cold
Listen to the time on the radio
Can’t believe what your told
Time might spring forward
But your hanging back
It’s that time of year
You need winter hours back

Every single time
Sneaks on up
Catches you by surprise
Every single day
The world keeps spinning the same
Every single changing season
You’d think by now
You’d think you’d memorize

Merry time change all
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

K-The lost will do their best to get home, if they are loved. To our soldiers who have given what they had.

Oh!!! Thanks for reminding me...I forgot! Gonna go change clocks now... :)
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
  • so, who all was running late?

I couldn't tell my body to go to sleep any earlier or to wake up for that fact.

:) nice one depop. There's no time change in Western Australia, but in my parent's state they just changed back from daylight savings a couple of days ago, so they get to sleep in I guess :) They were three hours ahead of us during summer, now they are only two. it's difficult to keep track of, especially because my sister (who also lives in an eastern state) doesn't have daylight savings. My family live in 4 different states, so I have to remember time differences and then also factor in which states have daylight savings and when.

I never really enjoyed daylight savings as a kid. I'm not a morning person, so I hate waking up early and then the sun never seems to go down and I love seeing the stars. Lots of time to play though I guess.

It's almost that time again and this year, as with every year, I will throw a conniption fit, a hissy fit, a temper tantrum and last but not least, the clock across the room into a wall.

Oh, did I happen to mention I hate this time change b.s.?!

    :time_out:
