two of a kind

I don’t know about these games that you play
They seem to pull us apart
I don’t know about these games that you play
They’re not something that I like
They’re things that craft many of our fights
Not saying all I do is right
But I’m willing to mend my ways
Not saying all I do is right
But there’s got to be a better way

If we want to live apart
We’re on the right path
If we want to loose it all
We’d best not change a thing

All I know is what I feel
And all I feel
I want this to last
But we can’t succeed
If this is our very best

See it here
See it now
This is not what we desire
Lets give it our best try
Take my hand
We’ll find our way
We’ve got to make a stand
Better times won’t seek us out
But let’s search until the end of time

If we want to live apart
We’re on the right path
If we want to loose it all
We’d best not change a thing

Turn this grim light
Into a better thing
We can make it past the bend
We can make our love come to mend

To all those looking
Just hear one thing
You can’t break us
Or overcome our undying will
And all those on looking
Just see one thing
Our passion will surge
Our love it shall ring

One more comment before we carry on
Nothing can stop us
We’re two of a kind
Nothing can stop us
Our love has become blind
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

    Good read depop! I agree if it is love you should do whatever you can to hold onto it, as long as both are working on it, it is supposed to be give and take...

    I really enjoyed this, depop! :) It's a smart look at a relationship that's going through rough times that's actually full of hope and love! Very cool!

    I was especially digging this part when I got to it:

    "To all those looking
    Just hear one thing
    You can’t break us
    Or overcome our undying will
    And all those on looking
    Just see one thing
    Our passion will surge
    Our love it shall ring"

    I was thinking, YEAH, YOU SHOW 'EM!!!!! LOOK ALL YOU WANT, YOU AIN'T TOUCHING WHAT THEY GOT!!!! :D
