Tonight

I touched
Such gentle lips
In fright
I ventured
I took that step
I died

I reached
And sought
I found
A little piece of heaven tonight
I wept
Inside
So this is what perfection is like

And subside
All indecision
Just reach
To find
Exactly what I need in my life
So long
So wrong
All I need
Right here
Lovingly in front of me right from the start

Prison bars subside
Set me free
Now I know how to fly
Freedom comes with the simplest of things
When that bell chimes
Oh the liberation it brings
Letting go for the very first time
Known in an instance
How I wanna live for the rest of my life
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

    that was a VERY GOOD read!! i especially like the way u describe becoming free,... sometimes free can be found through state of mind,.... for some it is the only way to be free as the reality around them will not allow.
    "To live,.... love,..... there's a song to be sung,....
    'cause we may not be the Young Ones,..."

    --first u sow the seed-- nature grows the seed-- then we eat the seed-- ;) nah,... we smoke it!
