This is Loving

I hope I pray
Utter dismay
All the world folds in
Has its way
Of crushing in
Of suffocating me

You hold my hand
To show me more
And lead to points
I can no longer pass
And continue to ignore

Ever fast life
It cruises by
I watch it go
Waiting for it to truly begin
But you stand near by
Help me breathe it all in
Gentle whispers
Approach my ear
And now I know
Just why I’m here
Come to see
This is loving
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

    Wow, I really like this one alot depop! Wonderful read, I really like the hope reflected in it...reluctanly recognizing hope. Must be this person's angel that won't let them self-destruct, not without a fight anyway... :)

    thanks ladies.

    This one kinda started off different. I had some soft picking going on the fender, and kinda started off thinking of a 'love' type song
    I started with this:
    You hold my hand
    To show me more
    And lead to points
    I can no longer pass
    And continue to ignore
    and sorta went from there. It was strange, because I usually start from the start and go straight through when I write. It was interesting jumping back and forth, and when I saw it on paper, I realised it wasn't a love song type o thing at all.
    The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

    And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
