leaps towards other things (footsteps)

I took a step
A step to you
I held my breath
My heart hurts
It’s all caused by you

I can’t shake it
I can’t shake it
Seems I’m heading back again
I can’t shake it
I can’t shake it
Seems my heart always needs to mend

I’ll take that step
I swear to god I’ll follow through
Yearn the grace
To let the fingertips take their grip
Seek the touch
Maybe this time it won’t walk away
Hope for the best
Deep inside I know it can’t end up that way

I can’t shake it

Seems I’m heading back to you
I can’t shake it

Seems my heartache’s not quite through

Oh I feel it
Oh I can’t see it
It’s in the taste
It’s in the touch
I try so hard
Begging foe a love that seems just a bit to much

Leave my heart upon the fence
I can’t waste it
This feeling humbles my insides I know
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes

Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)

    This is hopeful and sad at the same time, like expecting the worst but hoping for the best, not wanting to be disappointed...again, something to make you feel alive... :)
