Life has its way of dragging on
It seems it all ends up the same
And every step seems equally as grim
As the ones that came before
And each every day
They remain all but the same
Don’t see a lot of change
The date
Hey maybe a little bit of rain

Can not walk away
I cut myself to not blend in
Can not find a way
Every day I feel so plain
I can’t walk away
The fields consume my soul
I search for more to touch
Don’t need for it to be real
Just need to flee
Need to find new planes

And when I give much more than I receive
Is this a way to live
Hope seems so grim
When your grasping at free will
And you don’t know how much more that you can take
But you let it sink on in
There is nothing that you can do
There’s no changing
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key

    It's dark and brooding and very depopulous. :)

    I agree with BE. Hmmm....I would say you are very, very far from "plain". Needs some light and hope. I light a candle to the darkness. There, now you have some of that fire you so love... :)

    look in the mirror
    look in the shower
    look in the forest
    look in the ocean
