3rd rate love (seems fitting for valentines day)

Love you how much I can hate
Happy to see you hate to please
Do not know what I have yearned
Waited long but have not learned

Love me love me
Won’t you please
Love me love me
Is what I need

Love me love me
Won’t you please
Love me love me
Show me that you can yearn

Third rate love my greatest joy
Third rate love is what I hold
Third rate love is good enough

Come on in right over here
Do not touch respect that fear
Hold your breath it’s what you do
Keep your emotion inside of you
Let go your thoughts but hold so tight
Not what is planned for here tonight

Love me love me
Won’t you please
Love me love me
Is what I need

Love me love me
Won’t you please
Love me love me
Show me that you can yearn

Memory
Memory of what did not be
Sight
Sight of what could have been
Love
Love is what we have not
Hate
Is this what we’ve really got

Third rate love my greatest joy
Third rate love is what I hold
Third rate love is good enough
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key
