A survival instinct,
I'm not sure what that means,
to combat those who invade
your inner sanctuary,

Discarding those who have hurt you,
for reasons that remain unknown,
seeing only what is in front of you,
calling that current status your home,

The primative...the animal,
that nature made you who you are,
that by cutting your losses,
will surely save some scars,

To allude to some commitment,
not taking a chance of internal peace,
believing all you need is what you will find
by moving on and being free,

That any love that gets too close will see inside your game,
scary that you will have to give up and have yourself to blame,
Accepting what is genuine, unconditional, and true,
that you can make a difference with whats been given you...
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
