the surface of things leads us to believe that beauty is in the eyes,
perhaps it's in the smile,
or the way our bodies glide,
could it be in skin that looks inviting,
or a graceful way to walk,
could it be in the seductive way some people choose to talk,
Or is the beauty that lasts a lifetime something more and true,
could the beauty that does not fade
await patiently...to awaken...in you...
perhaps it's in the smile,
or the way our bodies glide,
could it be in skin that looks inviting,
or a graceful way to walk,
could it be in the seductive way some people choose to talk,
Or is the beauty that lasts a lifetime something more and true,
could the beauty that does not fade
await patiently...to awaken...in you...
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!

a truly excellent ending to an inquisitve poem...
could the beauty that does not fade
await patiently...to awaken...in you...
"Or is the beauty that lasts a lifetime something more and true,
could the beauty that does not fade
await patiently...to awaken...in you..."
Mmmm, a sleeping beauty...just needs a tender wee kiss...;)
Thanks velvet, I am glad you liked it!
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
hee! hee! perhaps a kiss...yeah, that would be nice...
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
I shall re-state this...uhhu
And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key
