sometimes...it's o.k. to cry

How is it that they seem to know all of the answers,
that it seems like I am the only one who doesn't have it figured out,
that perhaps we all were not blessed with being cunning,
and only know how to just be inside who we are,

How others want us to be a certain way and never let us falter,
having all the answers when our lives have been full of lies,
to automatically be able to do the right thing all of the time,
to find it very painful to have to always say goodbye,

For once it would be nice to not have to show toughness,
to be able to be irresponsible and just go with my heart,
to abandon all the judgements and be able to say "I'm human too",
to just lay in loving arms that say...sometimes it's o.k. to be wrong...
and...sometimes it's o.k. to cry...
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!

    i love this poem as much as many i've read on here. open, honest, sincere, and it carries a sentiment that most-everybody should probably try to hold-on to as each new day unfolds. thank you.

    The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!
