A dictatorship to democracy,
sloppy pvfs,
a kitchen timer,
the docking system,
and a chair,
natural consequences,
charting,
positive reinforcement,
sometimes fair,
no visual contact during resting period,
no emotion and do not talk,
no manipulation or testing,
I didn't tell you to move or walk,
no badgering, no intimidation, no agression, no threats,
no martyrdom, buttering up, no physical abuse, or revenge,
now play like a nice boy...

that's...1
that's...2
that's...3
....take 10...& 5 for the past 14 years...
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!

Honesty to the self and the soul is the way to go. You can only be who you are and put your whole heart into it. Children should be treated like the precious gifts they are.

Youre right...and its a shame that some adults can't even learn to get along.

Thanks Ali! Sounds wise...parenting is very hard work, there are those who don't care but if you view kids as a gift you want to do whatever you can to help them, there is nothing more rewarding or no one will ever love you more in an innocent and genuine way than a child. To them you are the sun and their world. You decide if it is positive or negative for them. The hardest part and by far the worst was my choice in men, that is why we are not together anymore. Young and stupid. I did everything I could think of to make it work, but, it doesn't do anything if only one works on it. As sad as it is I really did think of my ex when trying to brush up on my discipling skills for a 2 year old, she is better behaved than he is and than some...I have had to do a great deal of soul searching especially over the past year and have to be honest and true to who I am, comfortable in my own skin...I am glad that we make you think, that is good! Thanks again for the kind words!
