block the negative feelings and emotions,
forget the sins that took their toll,

let you wake up from the nightmare you now know,
If I could erase the anguish and fear,

I like this.

it made me think two different things.
first about my little brothers (11 and 8 years old) and how they're growing up.
how they have to face the world soon and all its cruelty. reality..

and also starting over love. which is what you wrote about.

wholly crap, this describes a situation that someone i know is going thru right now. i have had to sit by and watch them deal with a lot of crap. this totally puts it into words! and the line "knowing if i show emotion it will only make it worse" pretty much sums up my role in the situation.

this is really good. I assume this is about your ex. it says exactly what you mean. It must be so hard on you (and him) seeing him like that and not being able to do anything about because, as you said, showing emotion to him would only make it worse. Good luck to you both.
