How they followed you,
you were their inspiration,
dedication to your love,
your science, your discoveries,
Always willing to share,
always willing to care,
about what impacts all of humanity,
You never held the airs of someone so brilliant,
but instead talked and laughed,
just an ordinary family man,
You shared what you knew,
you lived to learn and educate,
the respect you held,
was no small feat,
Your climate research and environmental contributions,
with such conviction and enthusiasm,
a concerned scientist and friend,
You will be sorely missed but not forgotten,
the impact you have made to your work and others will live on...
**This is dedicated to Yoram Kaufman who worked at NASA in the lab I work in. He was struck by a car riding his bike last Friday by work and hung on until Wednesday before becoming brain dead and passing away. He was well-loved and respected and worked there since 1979. A good man who lived his dreams.**
