breath in your wings

If in those wings
that life could breath,
and smother smoke
lost in the breeze,

your eyes would sparkle,
like they should,
you'd live and again
and know that love,

may seem fleeting
or lost to you,
beyond your grasp,
remaining desitude,

to wander and stumble
and fall to your knees,
to look in the wrong direction,
trying to please
those you know you'll never please,

don't look at what you're missing
or all that you lack,
keep your eyes focused
and you'll remain intact,

through the snares that only life
can dish out,
and perhaps that freedom you desire
will finally be what you're about
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
