Time for (r)evolution

"you are the future"
but we are scared
"this is what we'll leave you"
then we get mad
how are we supposed to live
with broken glass?

"make your choices today"
but we are not sure
"take this eath"
I'd say we need to think twice
what are we supposed to do
with only lava-mass?

"act this way"
but that's insane!
"this has worked before"
we are not you
why are we not allowed
to become better?

"don't point that this way"
oh yeah, why not?
"take this money instead"
and keep acting just like you?
how can you not see that
it's time for (r)evolution?
"Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."
