went out the other night
the world had turned pale pink
sunset time

the sky was cut in half
it was like pages in a book
one next to the other

on the other side
clouds like feathers
on the wings of a bird
but softer, rounder

the other page
sky blazing orange and red
like fireworks
after a delighthful party
reminding me there's life

I went back inside
and everything was fine

umm, just some thoughts after a pretty sunset. :)
not maybe best I've written, but this is the first time I'm writing poetry in english.

I like this, and for a first attempt in english I think it is really good.

How about "Pages in a Book", or even just "The Setting Sun". By the way, it's very detailed and very beautiful writing.

    thanks. :)
I like to use a lot of details. I think it sets the mood a lot and makes it easier to "get in".

nice titles, maybe I'll steal one of them. :) book group is kinda funny though, no offense. :)

I like to use metaphors but they usually suck or are hard to understand, so thank you. :)
