Missed Love

In and out
passing by
Just a stranger walking
on the road of life
No one I'll ever know
not fortunate enough to meet
Just an everyday Joe
That I didn't see
Another direction
another mark to make
A different affection
on a different road to take
Live on the same planet
but in our own little worlds
Will they ever collide
and the boy will meet the girl?

  • I often onder things like this too. If you didnt do something, how would your life be. I there an amazing friend living 3 doors away that youlve never met
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key

Awww! :( *yells* Stupid!!!!! haha...ok not the poem, just *this* in general. I know what you mean twin2, I've felt this before...I think we all have. You captured it just beautifully. The ending is very powerful, brings it all together perfectly too.

    Thanks for sharing!

:) life is like one of those choose the ending books where each decision gives you a different ending. I think if Boy is destined to meet Girl, but stuffs up by deciding to walk down Street A instead of Street B, then sometime in the future another opportunity will present itself and another and another until they make the right choice. Sometimes it takes a lifetime. Sometimes in the mean time you've settled for Mr/Mrs Maybe so when you do find Mr/Mrs Right you can't do anything about it.

Lucky for me I was never one for settling :) and now I have my happy ending (beginning). but I used to always wonder about this, what you have written.

I don't believe in settling either and I too already have the love of my life. I wonder about other people and hope that everyone finds their's. It's sad to think that someone could go through life and never find that special someone.

Perhaps because I've met the most important people in my life due to very unusual (for me) starting up a conversation with a "stranger", but I feel very close to this poem. Thank you :)
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.
