Life's too short not to enjoy it,
just what are you living for?
Are you ever satisfied with what you have?
Or do you always want more?

Do the highs numb your pain?
Do your demons have names?
Or are you your biggest enemy?
Look inside, what do you see?

Can't buy what you're grabbing for.
Money won't get you what your heart is aching for.
All for success at all costs or the mighty dollar bill?
Makes a very bitter pill.

So much more,
is worth living for.
Beauty is all around you,
open up your eyes and take a good, long look around.
It doesn't have to be the way you've been living.
Peace of mind can be found.

When I was a kid my dad told me "Money doesn't buy happiness, but it can lease it for a long time." Dunno why I posted that, just came to mind when I read this.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

My dad once asked me when I was about 10, "What's the most important thing in life." I said, "Money." He said, "Happiness." That blew me away because he was always arguing about money - asshole.

But, back to the poem - THANK GOD FOR TWINS!!!!! Totally answers that poem for me.
